Events in Our Garden

Wreaths & Rose Hips   Learn how to use rose hips - the lovely seed pods of the rose plant -  for seasonal decorations, in teas and jams, and for garden color all winter long. Our resident Wreath-mistress, Roxie Nall, will demonstrate the use of hips and other natural materials to create beautiful wreaths.  Materials will be available for you to purchase and take home to make your own circle of beauty.

Rose Hip Table Display   View a fascinating collection of the many rose hips found in our garden, with the flowers that made them.  Free recipes for rose hip teas and preserves, and Hip-producing roses will be available for sale in nursery.

Butterfly Garden   Butterflies and hummingbirds greet you as you wander the garden or sit on our new "Sweet Scent Seat", and enjoy the fall fragrances.

Nursery-    Open and brimming with hundreds of beautiful roses, irises & perennials, ready for Fall planting - Featuring roses that produce hips & fall color. Special Holiday discounts offered on many of these plant treasures!

Rose Water & Perfume-    Our wonderful, estate produced Rose Water and "Rose Embrace" Eau de Toilette will be available for purchase along with other unique RRRCo creations. REAL, locally made gifts!

Tea-  Complementary hot organic tea will be served.

Nursery and Display Garden open from 10-5.  No reservations required.  $2 donation appreciated.  'Rose Hip' events at 10 & 2.
